Mini tour and upcoming projects

So far 2007 has been incredibly busy for Bella Tromba and after a hectic few weeks before Easter the quartet finally has a bit of room to breathe (before the next onslaught starts!)
The end of March saw us on another mini tour, this time to Deryshire and Shropshire. We kicked the tour off with a recital in the lovely village of Yoxhall for Live and Local, an organisation that arranges concerts in rural areas. This was a really enjoyable recital for all involved, the audience were great and really receptive to lots of different types of music. We like to include as much variety in our recitals as possible and we used this recital as a ‘test run’ for some of the pieces we’re playing at Cheltenham Festival in July.
The rest of the week saw us touring around a mixture of schools, community centres and hospitals in and around Shropshire.
After a few weeks respite over Easter it’s time to get back to work! In the coming months we have a performance at Windsor Castle to prepare for and also two brand new commissions on the way, so it’s back to work, but I don’t think any of us would have it any other way!
