Launch of Bellatromba.co.uk

by Jo

Welcome to the official Bella Tromba web site. After naively telling everyone back in June 2005 that the site would be launched in a couple of months, we are very pleased too finally go live. I hope we have created a website that will be easy to use, fun to read and have all the information about Bella Tromba that you will need.

We will be writing regular posts, about forthcoming projects and hopefully creating some music related discussions. Blogging amongst musicians is still comparatively rare and i don’t think the rest of the quartet will mind if i say none of us knew that much about it when the idea was mentioned to us. We love new projects though and the opportunity to have (we believe) the first ensemble blog in the country seemed too good to miss. Please let us know what you think of the site and look out for my post tommorrow.

Thanks for reading.

Great website - well done when’s the CD out?

  6. Jo Says:

Thanks, for your feedback and for visiting the site. Kevin, i was wondering is it the white on black lettering or the font size that bothers you?

  7. Kevin Says:

The font size could do with going up one I think! (These eyes of mine are not what they used to be, especially since I have been working on your piece!)

  8. maggie Says:

Hi there. Great website and good to hear about you all. Charles H ( one of your Dad’s )let me have this. Will let Abi ( my middle daughter ) and friend know. They are french horn players ( since aged 8 yrs ), but both just brought trumpets/ cornets…………what can I say?!….both to be 31 this year and very excited and enthusiastic….!

  9. jo Says:

Hi Maggie, thanks for looking at the site. Great to hear about your daughters taking up the trumpet. Good luck to them both.

  10. Kevin Says:

Glad you have liked what you have heard from the piece I have written, if there is anything you think that you may like extra please let me know.

  11. Jo Says:

Hi Bella Tromba! I’ve finally checked out your website and its good, I like the photos! I’ll come and listen to one of your gigs when I can make it.

  12. Kevin Says:

What about adding some music to the site?

  13. Clare Says:

We’re still thinking about that at the moment. The problem being that how good the clip sounds depends on the quality of speakers on computers whereas if we send out CD’s to people that request them we can guarantee good sound quality. What are your thoughts?!

  14. Kevin Says:

I do not think that the quality of the sound will matter too much, you always sound great! As long as it is a decent file then the repro should be okay.

  15. Nicole Says:

Thanks for your thoughts on the music kevin, we wil be doing some more recording sessions over the summer and will most likely add something from this.
