Victoria Curran
Victoria Curran completed her musical studies by gaining a postgraduate performance diploma at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. Since then, Victoria has been a founder member of Bella Tromba, Park Lane Performing Artists 2007, as well as performing as a soloist and freelance orchestral player both in and around the UK and Europe. She has worked in a number of chamber ensembles, touring and leading masterclasses around the UK as a representative for Classic FM, Yamaha and Live Music Now!, made several television and arena appearances with pop group “McFly” and also has been heavily involved with the Wigmore Hall’s Education Department.
Previous engagements include the Royal Festival Hall, soloist at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room for the Peter Maxwell Davies Festival, Harrison Birtwistle celebration concert in 2004 in Westminster Abbey, the Barbican Hall with Sir Colin Davis and the Bridgewater Hall with the Halle Orchestra.
More recently, Victoria has broadcast live with Bella Tromba on Radio 3’s “In Tune” programme and played in venues such as; City Hall, London, Windsor Castle in the presence of Prince Charles, Pump Rooms, Cheltenham Festival and Cheltenham Racecourse.
